This Privacy Policy explains how Caregress collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Caregress website and related services.

Who operates Caregress

Caregress is operated by Codeflax LLC.

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and sign-in information for authenticated users.
  • Facility claim submission information and supporting files.
  • Inquiry form submissions sent through facility profile pages.
  • Listing issue report submissions.
  • Subscription and billing information handled through Stripe.
  • Basic technical and security-related information such as IP-derived rate-limit identifiers, request headers, and operational logs.

How we use information

  • To operate and secure Caregress.
  • To authenticate users and maintain sessions.
  • To process facility claims and subscription workflows.
  • To deliver inquiries to facilities and notify operators.
  • To review listing issue reports and improve listing accuracy.
  • To prevent spam, abuse, and misuse of the platform.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Inquiry forms

When a visitor submits an inquiry on a facility profile, the submitted information is stored by Caregress and may be shared with the relevant facility operator so the facility can respond directly.

Inquiry submissions may include the visitor’s name, email address, phone number, and message content.

Listing issue reports

When a visitor submits a listing issue report, Caregress stores the submitted report for moderation and review. Reports may include a category, description, optional email address, and associated facility identifiers.

Listing issue reports are used for internal review, moderation, and listing quality improvement.

Facility claims and operator accounts

If you submit a facility claim or manage a facility profile, we may collect your contact information, supporting documentation, claim messages, subscription status, and other information necessary to operate your account and review ownership requests.

Payments

Subscription payments and billing functions are handled through Stripe. Caregress does not store full payment card details on its own servers.

Service providers

Caregress uses third-party service providers to operate the platform. Depending on the feature used, these may include:

  • Supabase for database, authentication, and storage services.
  • Resend for transactional email delivery.
  • Stripe for subscriptions and billing workflows.
  • Upstash for rate limiting support.
  • Vercel for website hosting and deployment infrastructure.
  • Trigger.dev for background jobs and operational workflows.

Cookies and sessions

Caregress currently uses authentication/session-related technologies as needed to support sign-in and account access. We do not currently state that Caregress uses broader analytics or advertising cookies unless and until those features are implemented.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary course of running Caregress. We may share information with service providers, relevant facility operators, and legal or regulatory authorities when necessary to operate the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational measures to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Children

Caregress is not directed to children, and we do not intend to collect personal information from children knowingly through the service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
